I've been using Google's Listen for a while now to download and listen to several different podcasts on my HTC Hero - Android phone. Recently I decided that I needed to get a desktop podcast receiver / catcher to download the same podcasts to my desktop that I was downloading to my phone. The primary reason I want to do this is because my Android phone deletes old podcasts after a certain period of time in consideration of space on my phone - a good feature. However, I would like to be able to go back and re-listen to some of the podcasts that were really good - something not possible with my phone.
I had in the past used Juice to download audio podcasts to my desktop. However, since that time I have upgraded my computer to Windows 7. Currently Juice does not support Windows 7 "out of the box". There are a few instruction on the WWW about how to make Juice work in "compatibility" mode under Window 7. However, I've not been able to make it work on my desktop as-of-yet.
I would rather one of you recommend to me a good podcast receiver / catcher that you like, that also works natively under Windows 7. I appreciate your input. Please comment below.
